When used as directed, this product removes organic waste, producing sparkling, clean swimming pool water.

SunGuard Algae Control Plus (1 qt.)

• Kills and Prevents Blue-Green, Black, and Mustard Algae Algae, while not harmful to bathers, do not belong in a properly operated swimming pool. A persistent algae growth is unsightly and places a significant load on the sanitizing and filtration systems; a load that can overwhelm both leading to unhealthy bathing conditions, cloudy water, and bacteria growth. SunGuard Algae Control Plus controls algae in your pool for up to three months.

SunGuard Stain, Rust & Scale Control (1 qt.)

• Prevents stains and scaling caused by heavy metals SunGuard Stain, Rust & Scale Control is best used for prevention of metallic stains and hard water scaling. This product sequesters (picks up) the material causing stains and scale and holds them in solution. If stains exist, they may be old ones requiring complete cleaning of the walls or stains of an organic nature. Dissolved metals and minerals (such as iron, calcium, manganese and magnesium) in pools and corrosion of metal pool fittings will often cause staining and/or scaling. SunGuard Stain, Rust & Scale Control is a diluted solution of hydroxyethylidenediphosphonic acid (HEDP) that is best used for prevention of metallic stain formation.
