Ensure all spa and hot tub equipment is working properly. Backwash and/or clean the filter system following the manufacturer’s directions using this product. Adjust the pH to 7.2 to 7.6. Water should be balanced and the chlorine or bromine level should be 0.5 to 3.0 ppm. When using other products as outlined in the directions for this product, always follow directions on those products.
DIRECTIONS FOR D.E. AND CARTRIDGE FILTERS
SPRAY: Use a garden hose to rinse debris off cartridge. Use full-strength product in a clean spray bottle and evenly coat the filter cartridge or DE element. Wait 10 – 20 minutes; then using a garden hose, thoroughly rinse for 5 minutes. Replace cartridge or element in the filter. Remember to re-coat the element if using DE.
SOAK: Remove the filter element and hose off debris. Then soak the filter cartridge or DE element in a large, clean plastic bucket containing one part of this product to three parts water. After one hour, rinse thoroughly and replace in the filter housing.
